“Living To Be A Force For Change -
A Clarion Call for Healthcare Access and Equity for Children”

I am foremost a Christian, a loving mother of three wonderful adult children, and a pediatrician.  The welfare of children, my own and the many pediatric patients I have been blessed to provide healthcare for in South Carolina over the past three and a half decades, is at the very core of my being.  Of particular importance, children are nearly universally regarded by clinicians and lay people as the most vulnerable members of our society, and have complex and specialized healthcare needs.

I am a well-trained pediatrician and have special interests in asthma, allergies, atopic dermatitis, sickle cell anemia, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, child abuse, and children with special needs.  Please see my attached curriculum vitae for specific details of my medical and legal training.

I have practiced office-based pediatrics clinically for three decades and actively provide healthcare to and advocate for the rights of our most vulnerable citizens - children with histories of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and emotional disturbances. The COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic necessitated transitioning my traditional office-based pediatric practice to an online telehealth pediatric practice platform with in-home patient healthcare visits, when indicated clinically, to safely provide healthcare during the COVID-19 Pandemic to my pediatric patients and those who wished to access my pediatric practice remotely for their healthcare needs.

I welcome you to continue or begin to access your child(ren)’s healthcare needs with me and schedule a telehealth office visit or an in-home healthcare visit today to optimize safe access to and delivery of high quality healthcare to your child(ren) during the COVID-19 Pandemic and beyond.
